Dead Man's Cave/Anston Stones Woods Ghosts Investigation.
Cave or Rock Shelter in Yorkshire (South)

The valley is not only interesting for its natural history but also for its archaeology. Ice Age cave deposits and Roman artefacts have been found throughout the valley.

This appears to be ancient woodland which has been saved from felling in the past because the banks of the Anston Brook are steep and unsuitable for cultivation. It was managed as coppice with standards as long ago as 1553 and appears to have remained continuously wooded since that time. Anston Stones Wood supplied the Royal Navy with some of its 'hearts of oak' in the C18th. This management continued until the early C19th, when planting either for ornament or game began to be practised.

In the summer of 1993 a man named Mr Fox decided to go for a walk to the stones. They had reached one of the many rocky outcrops about half a mile into the expanse of green belt land, when Mr Fox decided to go on ahead and climb to the top of a small crag. As he was walking in between two columns of rock, he felt curiously uneasy, as though he was being watched. Undeterred, he found a foothold and began to climb the rock face. He reached the top and was Astonished to see a huge black dog, something like a Rottweiler but much larger (in fact Mr Fox noted that it was the largest dog he had ever seen), approximately ten feet away from him. The dog stood motionless and stared, growling. Mr Fox remembers feeling as though he was not witnessing an "earthly" event, and described a sudden chill coming over him.

Project Reveal were joined by Whitenoise; upon arrival at the stones we came across an old iron bridge which is the old rail line which use to run through Anston woods there were some trees that are so weird looking... its like something out of sleepy hollow... Very weird twisted shapes

we took many photos which we captured some orbs also ozzie & Amie told us that they was a Black Figure stood at the top of the bridge leaning over watching us.

We followed the path which led us to the top of the rocks for which Lee S & lee M & Andy (Whitenoise) went down to investigate – when they came back up they told they rest of the group that they heard strange noises of like metal clashing ( is this the strange noise of the fights with the Romans ??) We carried on the path further to find the cave – upon reaching the cave we again got some great pics of orbs.

The cave
The cave was small inside enough room for six of us to fit in – we noticed a small tunnel which had been collapsed which probably goes for miles– lee s took recordings from night vision cam corder where he asked questions = we decided to have a vigil / séance,

The séance
We started the séance by asking out for any spirit person to come forward to make a noise or touch one of us.

Ozzie started to sense a spirit presence, a man called Albert. Slightly later on in the séance

Lee M, and Andy from white noise tasted blood in their mouths.

After so many minuets of calling out lee m, thought he heard a growl.

As the séance goes on everyone taking part in the séance thought lee s, face started to change old.. And his eyes turn evil, and his chin goes very pointy.

Lees arm went very heavy and Andy and Lee M, felt the heaviness and they thought lee s, hands were burning up.

Ozzie then challenged the spirit to come to him, and to show him self in any way.

The possession
It was all nice and calm in the séance at this moment, when ozzie was asking the spirit to come to him, and show him self. ALL of a sudden, Ozzie changed… He shouted VERY LOAD, “ LEAVE ME ALOWN!!!!!” All of the people in the séance jumped with shock. As It was totally unexpected.

Lee s was the first to talk to ozzie at this stage. Saying “talk to us ……. what do you want”

Lee S asked “Do you want us to leave“, No reply from ozzie..

Ozzie started to breath very heavy and started swaying back and forth.

Lee S asked again “Do you want us to leave“, No reply again.

Lee M, asked “what’s your name ….. Do you have a name”

Ozzie replied “Albert” in a angry voice.

Lee S, asked “do you want our help”

Ozzie replied “NOOOO”

Lee S, then asked the girls to leave the séance, ozzie started to crumble seconds later panting, and gasping for air. We then decided to try to bring ozzie forward to the light.. It was a struggle to say the least. At last ozzie got out of the Ice age cave, and left Lee s, lee m, and john from white noise inside the cave.

We decided to try to provoke the spirit to show its self, it seemed like we was getting no were with it!

Phil came into the cave with his K2 meter and he was getting a 2.5 EMF reading on and off in the ice age cave. At first phil thought it was my IR light what the meter was picking up on, However when I left the cave phil came back out and said, there is still a 2.5 reading in the cave, what is going on and off.

The night was late - so we decided to call it a night, and see what we have on our photos for results.
