Next weekend there is a joint investigation setup by Tracy Monger of the Norwich Paranormal experience group, where members from various paranormal teams will be investigating Chillingham Castle.

I will be representing Project Reveal at this investigation which will take place from 3 pm on Friday till 10 am on Monday and everyone will be getting what sleep they can whithin the castle.

This photo shows the Greys room appartment that I will be sharing with just four other people.

The middle section is the living area with a kitchen in one corner and the tower is where the bedrooms are. Hopefully something will happen to convince me with out doubt that there are Ghosts. :-)

Some History

Chillingham castle has a very violent history and one ghost I would like to meet is of a person responsable for some of the more vicious and evil events, who is a man called John Sage he was a very cruel executioner and as the war was coming to an end with the Scots, John Sage wanted rid of the Scottish prisoners being held in the castle so he rounded up the men, women and older children took them to the courtyard and put them all onto a huge bonfire. The younger children were kept in the Edward room and could probably see their parents being burned alive, they will have heard the screams and will have been able to smell the burning flesh. Sage knew that if he released the younger children they would return when they were older to seek revenge, so he took a small axe and went to the Edward room and hacked the children, some as young as one year old, to pieces.
