Carlisle Street ghosts investigation swinton.

Date : 31st August 2009.
Investigators Present : Lee S, Lee M, Ozzie, Simon & Wayne.
Location : Carlisle Street, Swinton.

After the weekly meeting at The Monkwood and a quck fleeting visit to the Travellers Rest, we all decided to take the short journey over to Carlisle Street to do an investigation.
Upon arriving at the area, and an initial setup of the equipment, i quickly showed the rest of the Investigative team what i had learned of the location and roughly what i had experienced down there when ive investigated on my own. Once everyone was settled, we started off by walking down the path at the right hand side of the road.

The Pathway
Apart from the annoying little boy racer that arrived shortly after us, we we're in essence, alone.Walking down the pathway, we were asking out for spirit to show themselves to ourselfs in various manors that they would hopefully do. After only a couple of minutes walking we started getting "orbs" or what appeared to be orbs in the pictures we were taking at the time. A bit further down the pathway, i though about taking a few pictures of the waste land. So i set out to capture a few shots.
After a few pictures i got something what i can only describe ( from th initial viewing after taking them ) as being a fairly bright, whitish mist on one side of the picture, with what i can only say as the biggest looking orb ive seen ever in the middle of it!

Upon showing the rest of the group this, i think it is safe to say, it is definatly a picture to sit down and spend time analyzing it before i/we come to ANY conclussion for it. After this occurance, we moved a bit further down the path, where i took another picture of the path we had walked down.In it, was Lee M's hand on the left, and i think Lee S was on the right hand side, and in the picture not one meter in front of us was, what i would call a solid mass of black. The pathway behind us in the picture had simply been blocked out by something!

Again, i shared this with the group and we all agreed i should take another picture of the same area to see if it would happen again, so i took the picture and we could clearly see the rest of the path as if nothing was wrong.So that too is another picture we do need to sit down and look at.

Meanwhile, Oz and Simon had walked about 20-30 yards away from us down the path and were stood in conversation, waiting for us i think, so we continued to walk down. I think at this point, Lee S, stated he captured what he thought was maybe an orb on the video recorder, without looking at the evidence, i dont think it safe to comment on them without seeing them first. By the time, we caught up with Oz & Simon, we had decided to walk back the way we came. Where I think Oz thought he saw someone a bit further down the path, we took pictures and again caught some possible orbs on them.

I took another picture of the wasteland and caught what i can only describe as an orb in movement that appears to be rotating as it was moving. I for one had not seen this prior to the picture, so i am sure it isnt an insect, but again, needs to be looked at more closely.

Back at the road.

Once we arrived back road, we decided to investigate the area under the railway bridge. There was a gentle breeze coming through so any cold spot i could easily have dismissed with this. Pictures was taken and video was shot under the bridge, a few possible orbs was caught and nothing else was really reported. We decided to walk down the road to see what else we could capture.

The Road

I left Lee S, Lee M and Simon to video behind us, while Oz and myself walked down the road, i was taking pictures as we went. Apart from the odd possible orb on the pictures i took, there was one or two personal experiences for me and Oz down the road.

1. As we walked down the road, we both saw what we both described as a grey shadow figure move from right to left. I saw it, and Oz did, unfortuneatly i didnt get it on film.

2. We both saw an orb with our eyes, and it wasnt, in my opinion an insect. It was to me, quite simply a ball of light that flashed and pulsed from right to left, that too we didnt catch on film, but we both saw it.

Shortley after this, and a few more pictures taken, we walked back to our cars and decided to call a close to the investigation for the night.

All in all, we all felt it was a good nite in ALL things considered...
