demons in the bible are fallen angels who choose to take Lucifer’s side, and wait until the Armageddon, demons now days are more known as bad spirits - opposite to good, these spirit will not help you on your way! they tend to play around, tell lies, also known to have freaky strength, lifting objects even people!
