Why do ghost hunters use Dictaphone / tape recorder's?

Paranormal investigators use Dictaphones and tape recorders to capture E.V.P. / sounds from beyond the grave. Dictaphones are digital appliances, and can record for a certain length of time, depending on the memory size of the Dictaphone. These are small , slim and light, easy to hold, and use.
With this device you have few options, you can record meetings / interviews / séances / investigation’s / or just have plain E.V.P Sessions of talking to the Dictaphone.
Once recorded you can transfer the files onto your PC for fast backup.
Analog tape recorder - This is the first original voice recorder which e.v.p was first caught on.
these are still sold in some shops, This gadget records all sounds onto a tape deck, however the down side is. You cant transfer the files onto your Pc Directly which is a downfall.
I would suggest that you use both Analog and digital on your investigations, as yet again they both have downfalls and good points about them, So I would suggest using both at the same time to see if the analog picked up anything different then the digital one.
