I live at 635 Brighton Bvd. Zanesville, Ohio 43701. There are stories about ghosts and spirts living in our house. Theres tons of noises and voices being heard every night. My neise, Kyra, who is three, says the ghosts name is Melony, and she has a mother, father, and a baby sister. She always says there is a bad ghost which we believe is the shadow we see. Random things fall over and things appear in places they weren't normally at. I read a book called String of Crows by Guy Burtenshaw, and it was very enlightening on the subject.

@gaz you obviously either have your own group and feel threatened in some way but the paranormal is a community not a competition. A site this size takes a lot of time and Lee does his best to keep it up to date as we all work for a living too. I do much of the research when i can by going to the local archives and finding as much history on a location as i can. Instead of critising why not help by sending us some research of your own and contribute to a community. None of us make any money from this as anything we do get goes towards fuel costs, equipment and paying for this site.

My oldest neice has been asking for years to be able to go to a ghost/paranormal event but I can only find those for over 18yrs of age. She will be 13 on 12th June and is mature for her years.

I take pictures for our local paper of the events that go on in our community. This Memorial day (May 31 2010) I took them like every year where they hold the Memorial day parade.

I can't mention who this man is but he owns and directs a Funeral parlor. The night before this picture was taken his God Daughter was killed in a motorcycle accident. She was very young and close to him.

He had to take care of the arrangements. You can see in the pictures the emotion as he was giving his speech for Memorial Day. The pictures were taken 20 seconds apart. I blew up photo 2 to show of what I think is a spiritual sprit. That is the only way I know how to describe it. Please let me know what you think.

Help. I would really like some feedback on the 3 pics I just uploaded from my daughter's Coolpix. She was taking photos at a wedding that took place on 12/18/2010 at Oak Grove Methodist Chruch in Atlanta GA. We are skeptics and are kinda freaked out.

I love the pictures - especially the one where the girl's in here bedroom taking a pic on her smartphone and a girl ghost appears behind her. And the horse with the red eyes too...creepy.

John: For what do we need to "get a grip" on? We have been going for 4 years and we take a scientific attitude to the paranormal, not just spiritual. hi evreyone okay iam a practising medium and do many readings at my local church.my house as this strange lady that will not pass over to the over side she continues to beleive that she is not dead i have contacted her on many ocasions and she will not pass over.your web site is interesting but you need to get a grip more with what you are doing.

The burning smell is interesting if it happens only now and again and in the middle of the room. The theory is that a smell can be an indication of a spirit letting themselves be known. I doubt your dad though would want to announce himself as he was when he was cremated, someone like that that would give the presence of reasurance, security, warmth and love I would expect. Sounds to me like another spirit but this is my personal opinion :)

hi all,
about every three months i get a burning smell only in the middle of my lounge it smells like burning hair it stays for 3 to 5 min then dissapears could this be a spirt my dad was cremated 10years ago.........

We are aware and we can tell the difference, im glad another experianced investigator sees between the lines :) but there is no PROOF that they are dust or a genuine manifestation of a spirit. We are doing a documentry on orbs shorty so keep an eye out for that , which will explain in detail the difference between dust and a genuine orb:) This is why I like what we do, the debates and the different point of views. Plus, what person may not believe another may believe, and we dont wanna force our opinions onto people, we allow them to make up thier own minds when looking at our footage :)
