I've seen the monk - or a figure - moving at high speed through the fields a few times.. and I've heard from friends about the children doing the 'ring of roses' around the pylons around that area.

Stockbridge Bypass Ghost investigation
Stocksbridge bypass was constructed in the 1980s and has created media interest throughout its time, due to some of the strange goings on that have occurred. Police also have reported that a figure and strange bangs were heard while doing their vigil up there after receiving a number of reports from workmen saying they had witnessed strange happenings

Stockbridge bypass ghost investigation.
When we arrived at our location it was cold, dark, and very quiet. All of a sudden a 4x4 comes and pulls up, and watches us. After a few mins investigators Amie, Lee, Simon, and Trish started to walk across the bypass talking about what sightings there has been. (the car pulls out and drives off) We decided to stop half way, and take photos around us.
We started to call out for any activity to happen, nothing happened out of the ordinar and after thirty minutes of being in that location we moved further up, towards where we parked and did the same process again. Amie and Lee took photos and got these.
After these photos we wanted more, and sadly wasn’t receiving more. It turned so quiet all we could hear are the cars and wind.
The Conclusion
The day was very cold, and a bit windy, hard to do e.v.p recording. It would need to be a great day with not many cars , and low wind to conduct a better investigation.
For the pictures, bear in mind it is cold, and windy, and that directly underneath are loads of cars passing by what are all knocking out fumes.
Sadly upon the evidence up to date I would say that Stockbridge bypass is not haunted, by we will be sure to return to hopefully prove it wrong.
I saw something similar with three mates a week last wednesday. It turned out to be a tramp who was somewhat the worse for drink but who could nonetheless walk fast until he fell over. He said his name was brother bunion.
