Trigger thermometers are used to measure the Heat / temperature of an area, by pointing the thermometer at the object / person you want to read.

some of these come with a red lazar pen light attached to the thermometer, and when you point, and trigger you will see the red light on the area you are taking a reading off.

How to use the thermometer to its best potential.

Thermometers are best used inside, but can be used out side, during séances.

To do this you would need a base reading of everyone taking place in the séance, then if anyone says they have gone cold, you will be able to tell if the temperature of the person or object as changed.

For a backup i would also take a base reading of a different object for reference check to see if the temperature as naturally changed.

another way to use a thermometer on a indoor investigation is.. If you get any paranormal photos with your camera, point the thermometer at the area with the paranormal occurrence to see if there is a temperature drop.
