Cryptozoology - What are Large Cats

The term large cats covers many stories and species from Black Panthers, puma's, lynx's etc.
These may have survived unoticed for 1000's of years surviving the last ice age or more likely is that they escapee's and animals that were let loose after the dangerous wild animals act of 1976 came into force.
They are seen all over the uk by many independant witness's but there is limited photo and video proof the substatiate every sighting, which still makes them an interesting and elusive cryptid.
